The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is composed of representatives of each varsity team. SAAC members meet monthly to organize a variety of community service and volunteer opportunities, and to discuss student-athlete welfare issues. SAAC representatives also represent San Diego State University at NCAA and Mountain West conference meetings. Members of SAAC take an active role in leading community service projects, including trips to local elementary schools, to serve as role models and a source of inspiration in the local community.
