SAN DIEGO - Competing for the third time in four days, the San Diego State swimming and diving team (3-5 overall, 1-5 MWC) fell to Mountain West Conference foe Colorado State, 184-113, Monday at the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center.

The afternoon featured wins by senior Jennifer Arrow and sophomore Caitlin Friedhoff, as well as, season-high scores from each of San Diego State's three divers.

Arrow finished first in the 200-yard breaststroke with her time of 2:26.98 in the eleventh event of the day. Her effort was the fastest of the year, eclipsing her 2:27.88 time set against the Air Force Academy on Nov. 3.

Friedhoff continued her string of strong performances by notching a victory in the 100-yard freestyle (54.59). With the win, the sophomore has recorded a victory in six of the last seven dual-meets, including four consecutive.

In the one-meter diving competition, freshmen Kathleen Heuring and Joelle Felton, both set career and personal season highs. Heuring placed second with a score of 250.87, Felton finished fourth, just 0.37 points behind third-place finisher Amber Utesch of Colorado State, and Lindsey Minnich set a personal season-high of 225.67 points while coming in fifth.

The next meet for the Aztecs is slated for Dec. 18 when they take on UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev.
