COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the second straight week, San Diego State's Kristen Meier has been named the Mountain West Conference Diver of the week. It marks the third time she has picked up the award this season.

Meier, a junior who hails from Walden, N.Y., posted two NCAA zone-qualifying scores last Saturday in the Aztecs' triple dual meet vs. Cal State Bakersfield, Fresno State and UC San Diego. The Aztecs won all three contests to improve to 15-0 on the season.

Meier set a program record on the 3-meter springboard, earning 323.75 points to win the event and qualify for the postseason. She broke the school mark of 314.25 that she had set the previous at home in a double dual against Tulane and Northern Colorado. Her score also ranks as the third-highest of the season for a conference diver.

She also tallied a mark of 286.15 to lead all divers on the 1-meter springboard.

Up next for San Diego State is a conference showdown with Wyoming in two weeks (Friday, Jan. 28) at noon at the Aztec Aquaplex.
