The San Diego State women's soccer program will hold its summer 2013 ID camp July 5-6 at SDSU. Registration is now open and those interested should click here.
The two-day camp is open to any and all girls in eighth grade or above, and cost $250. On July 5, the camp will go from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will pick up again on July 6, and run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Women's soccer head coach Mike Friesen and associate head coach Juan Pablo Favero will run the camp, with Favero leading the mental training session.
Campers should bring a water bottle, soccer clothes, shin guards and sunscreen, and will be provided lunch and t-shirts.
In 2012, San Diego State won the Mountain West regular-season and tournament championships en route to the NCAA tournament where they advanced to the Sweet 16. At season's end, the Aztecs shared the best record in the nation at 21-2-1 and finished the season ranked No. 7 in the final NSCAA poll.
