San Diego State has announced that its home football game against UNLV on Saturday, Sept. 27 will be shown on ESPN3. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium.
The Aztecs (1-1) are coming off a 31-27 setback at No. 21/23 North Carolina on Sept. 6. SDSU, which had a bye last week, travels to Oregon State (2-0) on Saturday (Sept. 20). The Rebels (1-2) lost at home to Northern Illinois, 48-34, last Saturday (Sept. 13) and plays at Houston this Saturday (Sept. 20).
San Diego State had its three-game winning streak vs. UNLV snapped last Nov. 30 in a 45-19 loss in Las Vegas. The Aztecs have still won nine of the past 12 meetings overall with the Rebels and six straight at home in the series. SDSU leads the all-time series, 14-9, and is 8-3 all-time at home vs. UNLV. San Diego State and the Rebels will be meeting for the first time in a Mountain West opener.
