SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Aztec swimming & diving team will resume action at the 2015 Mountain West Conference Championships this morning with the prelims in five events. The meet, which runs through Saturday, is being contested at Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas.
The Aztecs remained within striking distance of first place after the opening two days of competition as they trail defending champ Boise State by seven points.
SDSU will look to build on Thursday's performance which saw Anika Apostlaon record an NCAA Championship qualifying time while winning the 50 freestlye. In addition, the 200 free relay team also gained entry to the NCAA meet while winning that event.
Prelims get underway this morning at 11:00 a.m. CT (9:00 PT) with the evening finals session slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. CT (4:30 PT).
