SAN DIEGO, Calif. - A total of seven San Diego State swimmers will be in Greensboro, N.C., Beginning March 19 for the 2015 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. SDSU will be represented in five individual events and four relays over the three days of competition.

The San Diego State divers are competing at the Zone E Regional meet today through Wednesday as they attempt to qualify for the upcoming national championship meet as well.

Aztecs who will swim in individual events at the NCAA Championships include senior Chelsea Bailey and sophomore Anika Apostalon (50 and 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke) along with freshman Summer Harrison (100 and 200 butterfly).

Joining that trio will be the foursome of Whitney Weisz, Laura Day, Taylor Johnson and Savannah Miller who will compete in the relay races. The Aztecs will field teams in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays as well as both the 200 and 400 medley relays.

The NCAA Championships are being hosted by North Carolina State and the Greensboro Sports Commission. Competition begins on Thursday (March 19) and will run through Saturday (March 21) at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Prelims get underway at 11:00 a.m. (ET) each day with the finals sessions scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. (ET) each evening.
