SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State lacrosse team welcomes an extremely talented recruiting class of 11 incoming freshmen to Montezuma Mesa for the 2017 spring season as announced Thursday by sixth-year head coach Kylee White.
The class of 2016 features some of the nation's finest student-athletes who hail from many of the top lacrosse programs in Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, as well as San Diego County, Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
Highlighting the group are two high school All-Americans and a pair of all-state performers, nine all-conference selections, three all-section/district honorees, one all-county pick and one player of the year award recipient. In addition, the class includes four players who have played for a league or section championship team, along with one state champion and one state runner-up.

Ryli Quinn
Hometown: Carlsbad, Calif.
Last School: San Marcos HS
Position: Midfield
A highly decorated recruit who won four varsity letters for head coach Robert Meder at San Marcos High ... Earned first-team all-Avocado League honors and received all-CIF San Diego Section recognition on three occasions ... Was voted her school's Athlete of the Year ... Helped the Knights capture the 2014 CIF Division II championship to go with appearances in the Division I and Open Division playoffs ... Broke the program's single-season record with 144 draw controls as a sophomore ... Additionally holds the school record for total points, assists, ground balls and turnovers caused ... A multi-sport athlete who also competed in cross country as a prep ... Played three years of club lacrosse for the Pacific Falcons ... Intended major is business administration.
Gabbie Garrison
Hometown: Westlake Village, Calif.
Last School: Agoura HS
Position: Defender
A multi-sport athlete who also competed in track and field and cross country at Agoura High School ... Earned three letters in lacrosse for head coach Steve Omlor, helping the Chargers capture three Marmonte League championships and a pair of CIF Southern Section titles ... Was a three-time all-conference honoree and was twice voted her team's defensive MVP ... Also served as varsity captain and received her squad's rookie of the year award ... Played for club team Coast to Coast Lacrosse ... Excelled on the track as well, garnering all-conference accolades on three occasions ... Ran one leg of her school's record-setting 4x400 relay team and finished second at the conference meet in the 400 meters ... Was a three-year member of the California Scholarship Federation and two-time scholar-athlete ... Plans to major in business administration at San Diego State.
Kay Kay Greskovich
Hometown: Reisterstown, Md.

A multi-sport athlete who won two letters in lacrosse as a prep under head coach Ali Jacobs ... Was also a four-year competitor in soccer, serving as team captain during her senior season, and a two-year member of the varsity swim team ... Excelled in the classroom, earning AP Scholar with Distinction, Cum Laude Society membership, as well as the Dartmouth Book Award ... Also competed for the Diamonds club lacrosse program, finishing as the leading scorer for the 2016 squad ... Intended major at SDSU is kinesiology with plans to attend medical school.
Taylor Jervis
Hometown: Poway, Calif.
Last School: Poway HS
Position: Attack
Won four varsity letters for head coach Sarah Spillett at Poway High ... Helped the Titans capture the Palomar League championship in 2016 after sharing the crown the previous year ... Twice earned first-team all-conference distinction ... Received first-team all-CIF San Diego Section recognition in 2015 and was named her squad's offensive MVP ... Also excelled in field hockey as a prep, garnering first-team all-conference accolades on two occasions to go with team and defensive MVP honors ... Her brother Matt plays baseball for Point Loma Nazarene ... Recipient of her school's Teacher-Student Staff Award and was named a multi-sport scholar-athlete ... Is undecided on a major.
Marissa MacRae

Was a four-year varsity starter and three-time team captain under head coach Chelsea Hargett at Mt. Carmel High ... Led the Sundevils in scoring three consecutive seasons, collecting a trio of team MVP awards in the process ... Notched 55 goals and 27 assists during her senior campaign ... Earned first-team all-Palomar League honors on three occasions to go along with all-CIF recognition ... Helped her squad capture the conference championship as a freshman in 2013 ... Started four years for the West Coast Starz club team ... Also competed in soccer, golf and track and field, winning a combined 10 letters as a prep ... Was voted Mt. Carmel High's female athlete of the year in 2016 and received the KUSI prep player award ... Intended major is kinesiology.

Helped the Lady Titans to a runner-up finish in the 2016 CIF San Diego Section Division II Championships and was presented with the Sportsmanship Award after the title game ... Led the team in goals scored, assists, draw controls and ground balls during her senior campaign to earn first-team all-Metro Mesa League recognition and team co-MVP honors ... Also received Was voted her squad's defensive player of the year ... Also competed in cross country and track and field as a prep ... Sarah McDonagh

Was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Annie Lesch at Glenbrook South High School ... Helped the Titans to two consecutive fourth-place finishes in the Illinois state tournament ... Earned All-America honors and was selected her team's most valuable player as a senior ... Garnered all-state and all-conference accolades on two occasions ... Led her team in goals, assists and draw controls ... Played for the Illinois Elite national team and participated in Nike's The Ride lacrosse camp in 2014 ... Received Optimist Club Sportsmanship Award and was voted her school's best female athlete by the student body ... Also played basketball all four years as a prep... Meg Morgan

Earned four varsity letters at prep powerhouse Upper Arlington High, where she became the first lacrosse player at her school to win three state championships ... Her Golden Bear squad compiled an amazing 41-0 record in her final two seasons ... Received all-state recognition on two occasions, including first-team distinction after scoring 63 goals during her senior campaign ... Garnered all-Ohio Capital Conference accolades and earned all-district honors in three straight years ... Was the only freshman to make the varsity squad during her prep career ... Served as team captain during her senior campaign ... Participated in two Maryland Crab Draw all-star games and was selected to the National Brine and Maximum Exposure Under Amour all-star teams ...
