- San Diego State wins its third straight Mountain West game, all by double figures, for the first time since Feb. 6-13, 2007.
- The Aztecs defeat UNLV for a ninth straight game and for the sixth consecutive time at Thomas & Mack Center. No other team in the last 21 seasons has won as many as eight consecutive games against the Runnin' Rebels.
- San Diego State wins its third game in a row to even its Mountain West record to 3-3 and earns its first road victory of the season.
- San Diego State is tied with Nevada for the longest active win streak in the Mountain West.
