SAN DIEGO -
A limited number of tickets are available for Friday's San Diego State men's basketball season opener vs. San Diego Christian. The game is set for a 7 p.m. PT start at Viejas Arena.
There are less than 200 tickets left in the chair-back and bench seating areas for SDSU's first official game under first-year head coach Brian Dutcher. In addition, there are tickets in the student section available for $10. All tickets can be purchased at GoAztecs.com.
The Aztecs played an exhibition game last Thursday vs. UC San Diego and emerged victorious, 98-79. SDSU had six players reach double figures in scoring and were led by senior Trey Kell's 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. As a team, San Diego State shot 60.7 percent from the floor and committed only six turnovers against a team that reached the NCAA Division II West Regional championship.
