San Diego State fulfilled its media obligations and went through preparation for its NCAA tournament first-round game vs. Houston, which is set for Thursday inside INTRUST Bank Arena at 6:20 p.m. CT/4:20 p.m. PT on TBS.

SDSU gathered for a mid-morning breakfast before reconvening for a film session ahead of its nearly two-hour practice at Wichita State's Charles Koch Arena. After that, the Aztecs bused to INTRUST Bank Arena for the NCAA's formal news conference and open locker room session. Representing SDSU at the news conference were seniors Trey Kell and Malik Pope, junior Devin Watson, and head coach Brian Dutcher.

Following the 30-minute media obligation, San Diego State hit the hardwood for its 40-minute open practice. The Aztecs went through shooting drills and got up and down the floor, while Dutcher spoke with the TBS crew of Brad Nessler, Steve Lavin and Evan Washburn.

As its time on the floor expired, SDSU retreated to its locker room and went back to the hotel for dinner and film.

The 11th-seeded Aztecs will take on the sixth-seeded Cougars on Thursday night. In addition to the TV coverage, fans can listen to the game on the Aztec Radio Network (101.5 KGB, XTRA 1360, FOX Sports IE 1350), and nationally on Westwood One Radio.
