Notes
- San Diego State will begin a regular-season-ending three-game homestand this week with contests vs. Colorado College and Air Force. The Aztecs will face the Tigers on Friday night and play host to the Falcons on Sunday afternoon. Both games will stream live on the Mountain West Network.

- SDSU, which is tied for sixth place (11 points) in the Mountain West standings, will look to gain ground this week against a Colorado College team that is in fifth place with 13 points and an Air Force squad that has six points entering the week.

- The Aztecs went 1-1 last week during their trip to The Silver State. San Diego State jumped out to a 2-0 lead at Nevada before settling for a 2-1 victory. Two days later, SDSU allowed UNLV to score a pair of goals in the first 12 minutes and could not recover in a 2-0 defeat.

- Mia Root was the catalyst in the win over the Wolf Pack, assisting on both of San Diego State's goals. The sophomore found Laura Fuentes from the corner on a low cross and fed Darcy Weiser on nearly the same play. Both goals came in the first 20 minutes of the game.

- Root's two assists elevated her to the top of SDSU's season assist chart, tying her for the team lead with classmates Sarah Broacha and Chloe Frisch, and senior Nikolina Musto. Root, who scored vs. Utah State, has four points in her last four outings.

- Fuentes' goal at Nevada gave her two in her last three games after she found the back of the net for the first time of her career in the contest vs. Utah State. She has a team-high-tying two goals along with freshman classmate Taylor Moorehead and sophomore Phoebe Leitch. Fuentes is one of six players with a team-best four points (Broacha, Frisch, Leitch, Moorehead, Root).

- Weiser joined the ever-growing list of goal scorers when her one-timer found the back of the cage at Nevada. The goal tied her single-season career high, which she accomplished in each of her first two years on campus. The Aztecs have now had 11 different players score at least once this season.

- San Diego State heads into Friday's game with Colorado College having posted a 5-2-2 all-time record vs. the Tigers. In seven games that have taken place in America's Finest City, the Aztecs are unbeaten, going 5-0-2 in the process. SDSU, however, is looking to rebound from a 2-1 loss in Colorado Springs a year ago.

- The Aztecs will continue one of their oldest series in program history on Sunday vs. Air Force. San Diego State is 20-1-1 all-time vs. the Falcons and will carry an 11-game winning streak into the game. Over the last 17 meetings, SDSU is unbeaten at 16-0-1. The Aztecs' lone loss came on the road in 2001, and the draw occurred at home in 2006.

- San Diego State has won its last three games vs. Air Force by a combined score of 7-0, and dating back to the 2011 meeting, SDSU has outscored Air Force by a cumulative score of 16-2. Over the course of 22 all-time get-togethers, San Diego State has scored 49 goals compared to the Academy's 10.

- The Aztecs have played well historically in the month of October. Since the 2009 season, San Diego State has compiled a 55-12-8 record, good for a .787 winning percentage. More recently, SDSU has won at a .798 clip, posting a 39-8-5 record since 2012.

- After this week's games vs. Colorado College and Air Force, San Diego State will play host to one final game at SDSU Sports Deck on Friday, Oct. 26, when New Mexico visits. The contest will double as Senior Night with the Aztecs honoring their one senior, Nikolina Musto. First tap is slated for 7 p.m. PT and admission is free. Fans will also be able to watch the game live on the Mountain West Network.
