06 November 2018: Prior to taking on the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions the Aztecs Mountain West Championship banner was unfurled. San Diego State Aztecs head coach Brian Dutcher was the only first year coach to win his conference's title. The Aztecs opened up it's regular season schedule with a 76-60 win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff Tuesday night at Viejas Arena.
