WOODLAND, Calif. – San Diego State placed seven student-athletes on the all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation lacrosse team, as announced Wednesday by the league office.

Along with seniors Kirstie Greenlaw, Jill Haight and Harlowe Steele, redshirt junior Katy Sharretts and junior Marissa MacRae garnered their second straight all-MPSF accolades, while senior Jenny Buckland and junior Taylor Sullivan collected their first career all-conference certificates.

With their awards, the Aztecs tied their program record for most all-MPSF honorees set last season.

This season's all-conference team consisted of six attackers, six defenders, four midfielders and two goalkeepers. SDSU had the most all-MPSF picks, followed by Fresno State (6) and UC Davis (5).

San Diego State will take on Fresno State in the semifinals of the MPSF Championships on Friday, April 26, starting at 5 p.m. in Davis, Calif.

Below are the seven A­ztec selections at a glance:
 
#10 Jenny Buckland; Sr.; D; Irvine, Calif.
- Ranks fourth on the team with 26 ground balls, which is tied for eighth in the MPSF and is fifth on the squad with eight caused turnovers.               
- Has collected multiple ground balls in nine games this season, picking up a career-high four on two occasions at No. 18 Stanford (April 4) and vs. Fresno State (April 15).
- Relishes her role as a mark-up defender on opponents' top player, limiting numerous competitors to fewer shots after they scored multiple goals in previous games.                                                                                                                                 
- A steady, disciplined defender who was also a huge part of the is an integral part of the team's transition game, as SDSU leads the MPSF with a .844 clearing percentage.
 
#20 Kirstie Greenlaw; Sr.; A; Highlands Ranch, Colo.
- A major force on offense who has surpassed the 20-goal plateau for the second year in a row with 24 tallies thus far, which ranks third on the team.                                                                                                                                                                      
- Possesses one of the hardest shots on the team; has scored multiple goals in nine different games, including a career-high five in a 13-8 victory over Oregon (Feb. 15) and has a current streak of three games with two goals.
- Ranks second among Aztec starters with a .853 shot-on-goal percentage and ranks third in the MPSF with 3.87 shots-on-goal-per game.
- Set a career-high with three ground balls in a victory over LIU Brooklyn (March 16).

#14 Jill Haight; Sr.; A; Milton, Ga.
- Was limited to just 11 games after battling nagging injuries throughout the season, but still managed to hand out a career-high 10 assists, including a personal-best four in a comeback win over Fresno State (April 20), which is tied for third in program history.
- Additionally, her 10 assists on the year is tied for second on the team and sixth in the MPSF.
- Despite never playing more than at 75 percent due to her injury, still possesses the uncanny ability to manipulate the center circle, as evidenced by 25 draw controls, which ranks fourth on the team, including a season-high seven vs. Fresno State.
- Ranks third in school history with 136 draw controls for her career; has won multiple draws in seven of 11 games played this year.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
#17 Harlowe Steele; Sr.; M; Coquitlam, B.C., Canada
- A two-time team captain who ranks second in the MPSF with a team-high 44 goals for an Aztec squad that faced the toughest strength of schedule in the conference during the 2019 campaign.
- A versatile player who is also tied for second in the league with 31 ground balls and ranks fourth with a team-high 51 draw controls.
- Has netted three or more goals in 10 different games and set a career-high with 10 draw controls vs. Fresno State (April 20), which ranks second in program history.
- Moved into third place on SDSU's all-time charts this year with 84 career goals and ranks second with 143 draw controls.
- Captured MPSF Offensive Player of the Week honors on four occasions this season (March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22).                  
                                                                                                                                  
#36 Katy Sharretts; RS-Jr.; GK; Bel Air, Md.
- Leads a defense that has faced the toughest strength of schedule in the MPSF, single-handedly keeping the Aztecs in games during the 2019 campaign by posting 157 saves, which is ranked 14th nationally.
- Additionally, her 157 saves are only eight shy of her school record set last year.
- Has made double-digit stops in five games, including a school-record 18 saves at UC Davis (April 13), which eclipsed her previous standard of 17 set earlier in the year vs. No. 24 USC (Feb. 22).
- Has compiled a team-high 39 ground balls, which leads the MPSF, highlighted by a career-high 5 at Ohio State (March 24).
- Has caused 13 turnovers, which is tied for third on the team and tied for sixth in the league, but is tops among MPSF goalkeepers.
- Collected two MPSF Defensive Player of the Week awards (Feb. 18; March 11).     
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
#10 Marissa MacRae; Jr.; D; San Diego, Calif.
- Another tough, disciplined competitor on the Aztec defense who often marks up on the opposition's top player and possesses the ability to score out of transition.                                                                                                                                                    
- Ranks second on the team with 14 caused turnovers, good for fifth place in the MPSF.
- Set a career high with four caused turnovers vs. Central Michigan (March 5), which is tied for the best mark in the MPSF this year and is tied for the fifth-best single-game effort in program history.
- Has picked up nine of her 18 ground balls over the past four games, including a career-high four at No. 18 Stanford (April 4), one of five games in which she compiled multiple ground balls.
- Received MPSF Defensive Player of Week recognition (April 22).
 
#15 Taylor Sullivan; Jr.; M; Annapolis, Md.
- One of the most consistent player on the Aztecs who has racked up a career-high 35 goals, which ranks third in the MPSF, to go with a personal-best 31 ground balls, which is tied for second.
- Also ranks third in the MPSF with 16 caused turnovers and was named MPSF Defensive Player of the Week on March 18.
- Has scored two or more goals in 10 different games, including a career-high five vs. nationally-ranked USC.
- Set a career high with 7 ground balls at Ohio State, which is the top performance in the MPSF this year and tied for the top spot in school history.
