SAN DIEGO – Head women's basketball coach Stacie Terry has released the Aztecs' 2019-20 non-conference schedule. The slate features 11 games total, seven home games and meetings with three teams who made the postseason last year.

Last season, the Aztecs played their entire non-conference schedule in the state of California, but they will open the 2019 season in Hawai'i on November 5. SDSU beat Hawai'i in last year's season opener on a last second shot by Téa Adams. Hawai'i went on to tie for second in the Big West and qualify for the WNIT.

SDSU will then play their next four games at home beginning with a November 9 showdown with Towson. The Tigers won 20 games last year, won the CAA Tournament championship and advanced to the NCAAs. This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs.

The following week the Aztecs host Alabama A&M (Nov. 14) of the SWAC, another school SDSU will be playing for the first time.

That Sunday November 17, SDSU hosts Cal State Fullerton who they beat 83-72 on the road last season. Next the Aztecs will host Cal (Nov. 21), who won 20 games and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

SDSU will wrap up November with a game at UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 26) and at home against Arkansas State (Nov. 30).

After a pair of Mountain West games against Colorado State (Dec. 4) and San Jose State (Dec. 7), the Aztecs will return to non-conference play when they host crosstown foe San Diego December 11.

Following an eight-day break for final exams, SDSU will play at California Baptist (Dec. 19) before heading to San Antonio, the hometown of Sophia Ramos and Monique Terry, to take on Incarnate Word (Dec. 21).

SDSU closes out their non-conference schedule December 28 when they host CSUN. The Matadors tied for second in the Big West last year.

The Aztecs advanced to the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament last season after upsetting the No. 2 seed New Mexico in the quarterfinals, the furthest they have made it under head coach Stacie Terry, who will be entering her seventh year.
SDSU returns four starters from a year ago, including their leading scorer Sophia Ramos and leading rebounder Mallory Adams, both of which were Mountain West All-Freshman Team honorees.

Season tickets for the 2019-20 season are now on sale for $60 ($30 for senior citizens of military members).
