If anyone thought last week's performance was a fluke, Rashaad Penny proved them wrong this week. Against another tough run defense in the Minnesota Vikings, Penny rushed 15 times for 74 yards (4.9 avg) and a touchdown. He was more involved in Seattle's passing game on Monday night, catching four of five passes for 33 yards and another touchdown. Penny showed off his speed on his receiving touchdown, catching a screen pass at the 20-yard line and blowing past three defenders on his way to the end zone. He appeared in 35 offensive snaps in Seattle's 37-30 win. The Seahawks travel to the Los Angeles Coliseum for a divisional matchup with the Rams on Sunday Night Football.
Fresh off his stellar performance against Green Bay, Daniel Brunskill earned the start at left tackle for San Francisco in Baltimore on Sunday. In a close game, Brunskill saw the field for all 57 snaps on offense. He now has the fourth-best pass-blocking efficiency among NFL tackles (min. 150 snaps) with 98.2. The 49ers will play in New Orleans on Sunday.
Damontae Kazee made four tackles (three solo) for Atlanta in Week 13. Kazee played in 42 snaps on defense and 12 on special teams. Kazee and the Falcons will play the Carolina Panthers in Week 14. Kameron Kelly appeared in 12 special teams snaps for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their 20-13 win over Cleveland. They will play at Arizona on Sunday. Aaron Brewer saw the field for eight snaps on special teams for Arizona in Week 13. The Cardinals will host Kameron Kelly's Steelers on Sunday. Nick Bawden is on injured reserve for Detroit and Kahale Warring is on injured reserve for Houston. Calvin Munson is on New England's practice squad, while Ryan Pope (Jacksonville) and Alex Barrett (San Francisco) are also on practice squads.
Kawhi Leonard played in three games this week for the Los Angeles Clippers. Over the three games, where they finished 2-1, Leonard average 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game. At 16-6, the Clippers have the second best record in the Western Conference.
In golf, Xander Schauffele is playing in the Hero World Challenge this weekend. He will be representing the United States in The President's Cup in Melbourne, Australia, from Dec. 12-15.
