SAN DIEGO – San Diego State is set to play USA Softball Women's National Team (WNT) in an exhibition game on Tuesday night at Sportsplex USA Santee in nearby Santee, Calif. Weather permitting, the SDSU-WNT game will start approximately 35 minutes after the conclusion of the CSUN-WNT game, which is slated for a 5 p.m. PT start.

The USA WNT is 16-0 so far in its preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. As part of the "Stand Beside Her" tour, the WNT is on a series of competitions and training opportunities across America from February to June. The "Stand Beside Her" message encourages fans everywhere to stand united in their support of the WNT and the United States in its journey to the Olympic Games. The "Stand Beside Her" tour evokes a powerful message of unity aimed to inspire communities to stand beside HER – the members of the WNT, America and the future generation of female athletes.

The Aztecs enter the exhibition game with a 17-11 record, including a 7-4 mark against teams who made the 2019 NCAA tournament.
