SAN DIEGO -- It was another big week for former Aztecs across professional sports.
Versatile offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (2013-16) started at center for San Francisco on Monday night. He played all 61 snaps on offense and three snaps on special teams. The 49ers host Washington in Arizona in Week 14. Luq Barcoo (2018-19) had another busy week at cornerback for Jacksonville. He was on the field for 69 defensive snaps, making five solo tackles and breaking up a pass. The Jaguars host Tennessee on Sunday. Tight end Kahale Warring (2016-18) played six snaps on offense and 10 snaps on special teams for Houston. Warring also received an end zone target. The Texans travel to Chicago for a Week 14 matchup against the Bears. Linebacker Calvin Munson (2013-16) saw the field for nine defensive snaps and 10 special teams snaps in Miami's 19-7 win over Cincinnati. He made four tackles (two solo). The Dolphins draw Kansas City at home on Sunday. Long snapper Aaron Brewer (2008-11) was on the field for 11 snaps on special teams for Arizona. The Cardinals travel to the Meadowlands to take on the Giants in Week 14. Center Keith Ismael (2017-19) played five snaps on special teams in Washington's upset victory over previously undefeated Pittsburgh on Monday. The Football Team will play San Francisco on Sunday. Defensive end Alex Barrett (2013-16) did not play for San Francisco. Offensive tackle Ryan Pope (2016-18) is on the practice squad for Green Bay. Running back Rashaad Penny (2014-17) is designated to return from PUP for Seattle and is expected to practice soon. Safety Damontae Kazee (2013-16) and fullback Nick Bawden (2014-17) are on injured reserve for Atlanta and Detroit.
On the PGA Tour, Scott Piercy (1999-01) tied for 40th in the Mayakoba Golf Classic at 6-under-par, while J.J. Spaun (2009-12) tied for 65th at 1-under-par.
