FORT WORTH, Texas – On its final day of game prep before taking on 9-seed Creighton in its first-round game of the Midwest region, the 8-seed San Diego State men's basketball team had a full day of basketball activities and sprinkled in were multiple media obligations.

After a morning session of study hall, the team headed to TCU's Ed and Rae Scholmaier Arena for a little over an hour practice. As the Aztecs were stretching, the Horned Frogs were boarding a bus to head to the airport and travel to San Diego to play its first-round game at Viejas.

After practice, SDSU jumped back on its bus and headed to Dickies Arena for its only look at the facility where they will face the Creighton Bluejays on Thursday night at 6:27 p.m. CT. They spent approximately 40 minutes on the court getting shots up and generally getting a feel for the space.

Prior to taking the court, student-athletes Matt Bradley, Trey Pulliam and Adam Seiko met with the media and were followed by a separate session with coach Brian Dutcher.

After shootaround, selected Aztecs and coach Dutcher met with Westwood One radio, which will have the national radio call, CBS and the broadcast team who will be calling the game as well as several media outlets from some of the student-athlete's hometowns.

The team got back to the hotel, went to dinner and then had a second session of study hall before calling it a day.

The prep is done and now we await tip off at 6:27 p.m. PT.

This is March…and it's time for March Madness!
