SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State softball head coach Stacey Nuveman Deniz has announced schedule changes to Friday games being played at SDSU Softball Stadium on the second day of the San Diego Classic.
The Aztecs' (11-6) game against Boston Univ. has been canceled. SDSU will still play California, now at 6:30 p.m. PT. Boston and Cal will be the only other game on the schedule for Friday, tentatively set for a 4 p.m. PT start time.
The field at SDSU Softball Stadium will be reassessed at 1 p.m. PT and a final decision will be made for the remainder of the day. The rest of the games for the weekend at SDSU Softball Stadium will go on as scheduled.
