SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men's tennis team was scheduled to compete in four matches, one doubles and three singles, against the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Only the doubles match finished while singles were not completed due to rain on the second day of the Hagedorn Hidden Dual on the campus of the University of San Diego.
After beating the 46th-ranked player in the nation yesterday, Johannes Seeman drew the 42nd ranked player, Andrew Fenty. Seeman led 4-3 before rain canceled the remainder of the match.
A native of Tallinn, Estonia, Alexander Mandma trailed 3-2 to Patorn Hanchaikul when the skies opened.
Chikaya Sato was behind 5-1 to Will Cooksey when his match was halted.
In doubles, the one competition which was completed, Sato and Seeman battled Cooksey and Bjorn Swenson, falling 6-3.
The Hagedorn Hidden Dual concludes Sunday, Oct. 16, with the Aztecs facing the hosts, the San Diego Toreros.
