SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men's tennis team competed in three singles and one doubles match on the final day of the Hagedorn Hidden Dual on the campus of the University of San Diego with the Scarlet and Black claiming a set in each singles match against the hosts, but couldn't break through.

After beating the 46th-ranked player in the nation on Friday and leading against the 42nd-ranked player before rain ended the match early yesterday, Johannes Seeman battled against Ilro Vasa. Seeman won the first set 6-1 but fell 7-5 in a close second set. He forced a tiebreaker in the third set, but ran out of steam, losing 7-6 (5) in the third.

Alexander Mandma faced Lambert Ruland. After dropping the first set 6-3, Mandma took the second 6-4, but was bested 6-2 in the deciding third set.

The lone senior on the Aztec roster, Chikaya Sato dueled Stian Klaassen. Sato lost 6-1 in the first set, but bounced back with a 6-4 victory in the second. However, he could not close it out in the third, falling 7-5

In doubles, Sato and Seeman went up against Vasa and Sacchitt Sharrma, but it was the Toreros on top 6-3.
