SAN DIEGO – San Diego State women's tennis posted two tournament finals wins on Sunday. Julia Jordan won her singles flight final at the SDSU Fall Classic I, while Andjela Skrobonja and Dariya Detkovskaya won their doubles final at the USD Collegiate Invitational.

Detkovskaya and Skrobonja were in action on Sunday morning as a doubles pair, looking to go an impressive 4-0 in doubles play over the course of the weekend. The duo had already taken down teams from the University of Arizona, North Texas and Iowa heading into Sunday's final and were looking to beat a fourth power-five team on Sunday. The two Aztecs were able to earn their fourth win of the tournament, and in dominant fashion, 6-0. The duo defeated another Iowa team of Vipasha Mehra, and Daianne Hayashida to take the tournament's inaugural doubles crown.
 
SDSU Fall Classic I, San Diego
Back over at home, three Aztecs were in action on Sunday at the SDSU Fall Classic I. Jordan took part in the red flights final on Sunday afternoon and improved her singles record to 3-0 over the course of the weekend when she beat Victoria Santibanez Luna of Cal State Northridge to win. Jordan did so in dominant fashion, dispatching Santibanez Luna in straight sets and only lost three games all day, winning 6-2, 6-1 to take the crown.

Elsewhere at the Aztec Tennis Center Cecile Morin was defeated in straight sets on Sunday, 3-6, 4-6 in her match in the white flight.
 
Up Next: The Aztecs will head across town to the Barnes Tennis Center for the ITA Southwest Regional Championships, which will be held October 20-24.
