SAN DIEGO – San Diego State track and field finished day two of the Aztec Invitational on Friday. Two athletes were in action for the Scarlet and Black as Jenna Fee Feyerabend and Thaila Wilson took part in the heptathlon javelin throw.
Wilson and Fee Feyerabend took part in one event on Friday, the heptathlon javelin throw and both excelled as the Aztecs finished 1-2 in the event. Wilson topped the charts with a throw of 144'6", while Fee Feyerabend finished right behind her in second place with a throw of 126'4"". Fee Feyerabend's mark is also a personal best for her.
The rest of the Aztecs will take part in tomorrow's final day of the Aztec Invitational. The field events will get started with the javelin throw at 9 a.m. PT, while the track events will start at 11 a.m. PT with
the Women's 3000 Steeplechase Invitational.
