SAN DIEGO – The Aztecs will travel to Palo Alto, California to compete at the Stanford Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 31-April 1. The meet will be streamed to FloTrack ($).
 
Lauren Harper, Jessica Kain, and Alex Lomeli will represent the Scarlet and Black in distance events.
 
Harper will compete in the 800m run while Kain and Lomeli will race in the 1500-meter.
 
Kain is coming off an impressive performance at the Aztec Invitational where she placed first in the 1500-meter, setting a personal best of 4:20.63. Her time ranks first in the Mountain West and 19th in the NCAA.
 
The action begins for the Aztecs at 12:40 p.m. on Friday with the first heat of the 1500-meter. Competition will continue through Saturday evening.
