SAN DIEGO – The Aztec women's basketball team (2-2) hosts Westcliff (1-3) Tuesday at 6 p.m. inside Viejas Arena.
 
Aztec Tidbits
• This is the first of five straight home games for SDSU. The Aztecs are 16-4 in their last 20 home games.
• The Aztecs have won their last two games. On Saturday they won at Sacramento State 68-45 behind 20 points from Abby Prohaska and 19 from Adryana Quezada.
 • SDSU forced 24 turnovers which led to 25 points.
• The Aztecs first victory of the season was a 77-68 win over UC Davis last Monday. SDSU trailed by eight points with 6:13 left and then finished the game on a 22-5 run.
• SDSU has five players averaging at least 10 points per game: Jada Lewis (14.3), Adryana Quezada (12.5), Abby Prohaska (11.5), Sarah Barcello (10.0) and Kim Villalobos (10.0).
• In the Aztecs' four games, they have had three different leading scorers and four different leading rebounders.
• The Aztec starting lineup features two sixth year seniors (Barcello and Prohaska), two fifth year seniors (Lewis and Quezada) and a fourth-year senior (Villalobos).
• SDSU leads the Mountain West with 17.0 made free throws per game and their free throw percentage of 80% is 21st in the nation. Abby Prohaska is shooting 90% from the line on the year.
• Through three games, 43.2% of their scoring has come from newcomers (Lewis, Quezada and Jackson).
• The Aztecs currently have three players (all newcomers) out with injury: Erin Houpt, Trinity Zamora and Mia Davis.
• SDSU announced the signings of four recruits to National Letters of Intent: guards Kaelyn Hamilton (McKinney, Texas), Natalia Martinez (San Leandro, Calif.) and Naomi Panganiban (San Diego) and forward Bailey Barnhard (San Diego).
 
Player Notes
Adryana Quezada (Frisco, Texas) has a career field goal percentage of 51.3%. She has scored in double-digits in three of SDSU's four games, including 19 at Sacramento State Saturday. In her career, she has scored in double-digits in 41 of her 61 games.
• Quezada redshirted at SDSU last year after being an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selection at Utah State in 2021-22.
Abby Prohaska (Liberty Township, Ohio) scored 20 points at Sacramento State Saturday, her third time scoring 20 or more points.
• Prohaska is 112-for-131 from the free throw line in her career (85.5%). She shot 87.5% last year, the fourth best ever in a single-season by an Aztec.
Kim Villalobos (Los Angeles) has 26 career games scoring in double-digits.
Jada Lewis (Rocklin, Calif.) is shooting 37.3% from three in her career (102 games). Lewis has made 11 of SDSU's 19 three-pointers this season.
• Lewis is 53-for-60 (88.3%) from the free throw line in her career.
• Lewis is playing a Mountain West-high 34.0 minutes per game.
Sarah Barcello (Phoenix, Ariz.) has scored in double-digits in three of SDSU's four games this year. She topped 10 points just once in her 33 games last year.
• Barcello has five steals at Sacramento State Saturday.
Alyssa Jackson (Fairfield, Calif.) had a career-high five rebounds on Saturday.
 
Opponent Notebook (Westcliff)
• Westcliff is 1-3 on the year.
• Their lone win came against Menlo (79-65).
• They went 16-12 last year.
• They have four players averaging double-digits and are led by Valisa Millhouse's 14.3 points per game.
• Head coach Kyle Rouse is in his second year at Westcliff.
• The Aztecs have faced Westcliff once, beating them 77-56 November 12, 2019. The game was played at Grossmont College due to a power outage at Viejas Arena.
