Aztec Tidbits
• SDSU beat the Rams in San Diego 74-71 in overtime in their conference opener. Jada Lewis hit the game-winning three with seven seconds left.
• The Aztecs have won three games in a row and are coming off a 79-54 win over Boise State, SDSU's biggest win over the Broncos in 11 years.
• SDSU scored a season-high 79 points against the Broncos, who entered the game with the best defense in the Mountain West.
• The Aztecs had season-highs in turnovers forced (25), points off turnovers (30) and steals (16).
• Adryana Quezada (19) and Kim Villalobos (17) led SDSU in scoring.
• Mia Davis was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week. She scored a career-high 18 points at Utah State last Wednesday. She scored 17 of her 18 points in the second half, which included five three-pointers.
• SDSU is committing just 12.5 turnovers per game, the 13th fewest in the nation.
• The Aztecs are scoring 67.3 points per game in conference play, the second most in the league.
• SDSU is third in the Mountain West in conference games in rebounds per game (38.3) despite not having a player taller than 6'.
• Over the last three games, the Aztecs are averaging 21.7 turnovers forced and 23 points off turnovers.
• SDSU has four players averaging at least 10 points per game: Adryana Quezada (15.1), Abby Prohaska (11.1), Kim Villalobos (11.0) and Jada Lewis (10.0).
• The Aztecs have had eight different players score in double-digits this year.
• SDSU's starting lineup features two sixth year seniors (Barcello and Prohaska), two fifth year seniors (Lewis and Quezada) and a fourth-year senior (Villalobos). This is believed to be the most experienced starting five in the nation.
• In conference play, Villalobos is averaging 12.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. Her 8.2 rebounds per game are the fourth most in the conference.
• Adryana Quezada is one of six players in the nation to have at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 assists in their career while averaging at least 14.0 points per game and shooting at least 52% from the field.
• Quezada is fourth in the Mountain West in field goal percentage (55.1%) and free throw percentage (81.9%)
• Abby Prohaska leads the conference and is 32nd in the nation with a free throw percentage of 87.7%.
• SDSU's 14 wins are tied for the third most in the conference. They are currently tied for fourth place.
• Over the last two seasons, the Aztecs are 23-7 at home and 19-7 in non-conference games.
• SDSU won at least nine non-conference games for the second season in a row. It's the first time they've done that in back-to-back seasons since 2011-12 and 2012-13.
Opponent Notebook (Colorado State)
• The Rams are 13-7 on the year and 4-5 in conference.
• They have a NET ranking of 102, the third best in the Mountain West.

Player Notes
• In conference play, Kim Villalobos (Los Angeles), is fourth in the Mountain West in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and steals (1.8 spg) and seventh in blocks (1,2 bpg). She is the only player in the conference in the top seven in all three categories.
• Villalobos stuffed the stat sheet vs. Westcliff earlier this year and became just the second Aztec in the Mountain West era (1999-present) to have at least 15 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists in a game, joining SDSU Hall of Famer Jené Morris.
• Adryana Quezada (Frisco, Texas) is shooting a career-high 55.5% from the floor, which is fourth in the Mountain West.
• She has scored in double-digits in all but three games. She is averaging 18.0 points and 7.3 rebounds over the last four games.
• She made two three-pointers vs. Boise State last Saturday, her single-game high.
• Quezada is shooting 90.3% from the free throw line in conference play, the best amongst qualified players. She has made 24 straight free throws.
• Against Penn, she became the first Aztec since 2020, and just seventh in the Mountain West era, to have at least 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a game. Out of those seven, Quezada accomplished the feat in the fewest number of minutes.
• Jada Lewis (Rocklin, Calif.) is 73-for-84 (86.9%) from the free throw line in her career.
• Lewis has had five assists in each of the last two games, which ties a career-high.
• Both Lewis and Quezada have over 1,100 career points.
• Abby Prohaska (Liberty Township, Ohio) leads the Mountain West and is 32nd in the nation in free throw percentage (87.7%) this season. She has shot 85.8% from the line in her career (151-176) and 87.6% (104-121) while at SDSU.
• Prohaska is averaging career-highs in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, free throw percentage and three-point percentage.
• Sarah Barcello (Phoenix, Ariz.) passed 800 points for her career last Saturday.
• Barcello is averaging career-highs in minutes per game (31.5) and field goal percentage (.448) and her three-point percentage of 36.2% is her best since her freshman year at Marist (41% in 2018-19).
• Khylee Pepe (Long Beach, Calif.) had a career-high five steals vs. Boise State last Saturday.
• Last week at Utah State Mia Davis (Phoenix, Ariz.) became just the fifth Aztec true freshman in the Mountain West era (1999-2024) to make five or more threes in a game and just the second to make five or more in one half.
• Davis also is one of just five Aztecs in the Mountain West to make five or more threes and be 6' or taller and is just one of five to make five or more threes while coming off the bench.
• Jazlen Green (Upland, Calif.) joined the Aztecs after the semester break. She averaged 9.1 points and made 97 threes in 51 games at Cal.
