STANFORD, Calif. – The San Diego State women’s golf team finished the second round at the Stanford Intercollegiate Saturday. The Aztecs are led by Stephanie Barbaglia who is tied for 21st with a one-over-par 143.
As a team, SDSU is 46-over-par and in 19th place.
Barbaglia shot a three-under-par 68 Saturday. She had four birdies in a span of seven holes (12-18) and then was one-under-par over her final nine holes (the front nine).
Kylie Phi is second among Aztecs with a 12-over-par 154 after shooting a 78 Saturday.
Ema Narita is third among SDSU golfers, both on the day and for the tournament, after shooting an 81 in the second round.
The German freshmen duo of Emma Delwes and Emilia Omander are 20 and 26-over-par respectively.
Emma Delwes also had two birdies in her round of 77 (+6).
Emilia Omander, who was making her collegiate debut, finished outside of the scoring with an 85 (+14).
After two rounds, the host school Stanford is in the lead after shooting a nine-under-par 559. Washington’s Vivian Lu is the individual leader with a four-under-par 136.
