SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s basketball team is holding an open practice this Saturday (Nov. 2) at 10 a.m. in Viejas Arena.
The event is open to the public and will give fans their first chance to see the team behind the scenes ahead of their season opener Monday (Nov. 4) vs. Cal State San Marcos.
Fans can park in P13 behind Viejas Arena and enter through the double red doors as early as 9 a.m. There will be free coffee, doughnuts and refreshments as well as a raffle.
The Aztecs went 22-13 last year and advanced to their first Mountain West Championship game in 10 years. SDSU has combined to win 45 games over the past two seasons.
San Diego State, who set a program record for attendance last year, returns all eligible players from last season including all-conference forwards Adryana Quezada and Kim Villalobos. The Aztecs have six newcomers, including four freshmen and impact transfers Veronica Sheffey (San Diego) and Cali Clark (Colorado State).
