SAN DIEGO - San Diego State’s men’s soccer’s match vs. Utah Valley, originally scheduled for Thursday evening, has officially been canceled and declared a no contest. The game was previously postponed per the University’s recommendation.
Both institutions and the WAC worked to find a resolution to reschedule the match. Multiple options were put forward, but a viable solution could not be mutually agreed upon by both institutions.
Per the WAC code book, since there were an unequal number of games played, a point per match formula will be used for seeding.
The Aztecs will close out the regular season Sunday when they host Air Force for senior day at noon. They will clinch the regular season championship with a win or draw.
