SAN DIEGO – San Diego State has announced its promotions for Saturday night’s game against Air Force at Snapdragon Stadium. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT and broadcast live on FS1.

Parking lots at Snapdragon Stadium open five hours before kickoff (2:30 p.m.) while the stadium gates open two hours prior (5:30 p.m.).

Saturday is Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day. Fans should be in their seats early as the Aztecs’ class of 24 seniors will be recognized starting at about 7:15 p.m. In continuing the tradition of honoring local military, members of the U.S. Air Force will be recognized.

Also, the first 1,000 SDSU students will receive free SDSU belt bags.

The River Park Block Party opens at 2:30 with a DJ playing from 2:30-4:30 p.m. PT before a live band takes the stage at 4:30 p.m. and playing until the party closes at 7 p.m.

Other activations at the block party include a Kids Zone with a prize wheel, temporary tattoos, characters from a popular kids TV show, a 360-degree photo booth, food and beverage garden, big screen TVs with other college football games playing, helmet throne, yard games and free posters while supplies last.

The Warrior Walk, in its new location will parade through all the action in the newly-minted River Park and the Yellow Lot beginning at 5:15 p.m. Fans, friends and family members are encouraged to cheer on the team as they exit the buses and walk north toward Snapdragon Stadium. Fans can mingle with the San Diego State spirit squads, including cheerleaders, dance team and band, before watching the Aztecs get ready to do battle inside the stadium.

The Pre-Game at the Plaza will be from 4:30-7 p.m. at the stadium trolley plaza. There, fans will be able to enjoy a student DJ, yard games and student giveaways. While it is geared for SDSU students, all fans are welcome to join.

The Aztecs’ Honor Warrior, presented by Aztec Link, this week is safety Rico Curtis. Curtis was a four-year letter winner at San Diego State from 1996-99, finishing his career with 355 tackles, the fourth most in school history. A safety, Curtis received the John Simcox Memorial Trophy presented annually to the team's most valuable player after his senior season in 1999. Curtis, who led the Aztecs to the 1998 Las Vegas Bowl, the program’s first since 1991, also was a three-time winner of the Byron Chase Memorial Trophy, which honors the team's top offensive and defensive players. Additionally, Curtis was voted the team’s Most Valuable Special Teams Player in 1997 and shared the Most Improved Player award that same year.
