SAN DIEGO – The ITA Kickoff Weekend tournament in Athens, Ga., which San Diego State women’s tennis was scheduled to compete in beginning on Saturday, has been canceled due to severe weather conditions, the ITA announced on Thursday. The team’s matchups against Washington State on Jan. 24 and Georgia/Maryland on Jan. 25 will not be made up.
The Aztecs remain 1-1 on the season and will next face UC San Diego on their home courts at 10:30 a.m. PT on Jan. 31.
