Eight Aztecs Named to WAC All-Academic Team

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – Eight members of the San Diego State men’s soccer team were named to the 2025 Fall WAC All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

It was Rommee Jaridly’s fourth time earning a conference’s all-academic award. He has a 3.50 cumulative while working towards a certificate in Restorative Justice Practice.

Josh Lucas, Cianole Nguepissi, and Terence Okoeguale earned the honor for the second straight year.

Lucas Caffo, Dylan Presto, Whit Schatz and Eddy Vargas were first time recipients.
