COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Manon Martin of the San Diego State Women’s Golf team was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.
Martin (Courbevoie, France) shot a seven-over-par 79 in the Aztecs’ dual match with Long Beach State last Sunday.
Martin tallied 11 pars and one birdie and finished in ninth place.
Martin and the Aztecs are hosting their annual home tournament, the San Diego State Classic, Monday-Tuesday at The Heights Golf Club.
