2025 SEASON AT ARIZONA (As a Redshirt Freshman): Pitched in 12 games as a reliever, compiling a 2-0 record with an 8.03 ERA and seven strikeouts in 12.1 innings… Allowed just three runs in his first 10 appearances… Earned a victory in his collegiate debut, offsetting one hit with a strikeout in a scoreless fourth inning of the Wildcats’ 10-0 shutout vs. New Mexico (2-18-25)… Collected his second straight win after tossing two hitless frames with one strikeout in Arizona’s 7-2 triumph over Pepperdine (3-6-25)… Matched his season-long stint with two innings pitched at Texas Tech (4-26-25)…  Fanned a season-high two batters in one scoreless inning at Grand Canyon (5-6-25).

2024 SEASON AT ARIZONA (As a Freshman): Did not compete… Utilized redshirt season.

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated from Hamilton High School in his hometown of Chandler, Arizona, where he was teammate of fellow Aztec Rohan Lettow… Won three varsity letters for head coach Mike Woods… Posted a 4-1 record with a 4.57 ERA and 34 strikeouts in eight games pitched as a senior, according to MaxPreps… Helped the Huskies capture the 2023 Arizona Interscholastic Association Class 6A state championship… Earned all-city and all-conference honors… Was listed as the No. 5 right-handed pitcher in Arizona and the 10th-ranked player in the state overall for the 2023 high school graduating class by Perfect Game… Was also rated among the top 450 national recruits by the website… Garnered first-team  preseason all-West Region accolades prior to the 2023 campaign from Perfect Game after receiving honorable mention as an underclassman the previous two years… Earned all-tournament honors at numerous events sponsored by Perfect Game, including the 2022 WWBA Championship in Jupiter, Florida… Was a member of the 3D Warstic traveling squad that captured the 2023 18U PG West Memorial Day Classic in Surprise, Arizona.

PERSONAL: Parents are Ron and Shanine Johnson… Father played college basketball at La Verne… Also has one younger brother, Lucas… Enjoys working out and playing basketball in his spare time.
