PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2024 from Temecula Valley High School where he won four varsity letters under head coach Darric Merrill… Served as team captain in his final two seasons… Slashed .356/.433/.493 in 100 games as a prep, finishing with five homers, 56 RBIs, 53 runs scored and 17 stolen bases during his career, according to MaxPreps…  Also totaled 32 pitching appearances, logging a combined 13-7 record with a 2.55 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP… Struck out 157 batters against 44 walks… Led the team in several categories as a senior, including hits (31), runs scored (22), home runs (4), slugging percentage (.650) and stolen bases (8) while ranking second in batting average (.373) and RBIs (19)… Additionally posted a 3-0 record with a 2.66 ERA and 41 strikeouts across 23.2 innings in seven games as a pitcher, helping the Bears secure a spot in the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs… Was rated the 11th-best left-handed pitcher in California for the 2024 high school signing class by Perfect Game and was ranked 88th among all players in the state… Also listed as a top 500 national recruit by the website… Garnered second-team preseason All-America accolades for the California region by Perfect Game prior to the 2024 campaign after receiving the same distinction as an underclassman the previous year… Played two seasons for the San Diego Show club program, earning all-tournament honors in a trio of 2023 events sponsored by Perfect Game, including the PG 17U World Series – National in Surprise, Arizona, the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Florida, and the WWBA 2024 Grads or 17U National Championship in Marietta, Georgia… Also drew interest from TCU, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC and UC Irvine during the recruiting process.
