SUMMER 2025: Pitched for the Orange County Riptide of the California Collegiate League… Posted a 1-1 record with a 1.84 ERA and one save in seven appearances… Fanned 28 hitters against five walks in 24.1 innings of work.

2025 SEASON AT INDIANA (As a Freshman): Saw action in nine games as a reliever in his lone season with the Hoosiers… Compiled a 4.15 ERA and seven strikeouts in 8.2 innings without a decision… Did not allow a run in seven of nine outings… Made five straight scoreless appearances to begin the year, allowing just two hits in that stretch… Pitched the eighth inning of Indiana’s 15-2 romp over Fordham, offsetting one hit with a strikeout in his collegiate debut (2-22-25)… Fashioned another scoreless frame in his first Big Ten game against Ohio State, as the Hoosiers rallied for an 8-7 victory in the nightcap of a home doubleheader (3-14-25)… Was the sixth of seven pitchers used in Indiana’s 13-0 shutout of Bellarmine (3-24-25)… Posted a season-high two strikeouts at Michigan to end the year (5-17-25).

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2024 from Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, where he won three varsity letters for head coach Gary Remiker… Made 18 starts in 30 appearances during his prep career, posting a 10-2 record with a 2.28 ERA and two saves, according to MaxPreps… Struck out 105 batters against 55 walks in 110.1 innings… Earned second-team all-CIF San Diego Section honors and was named San Diego City Conference Player of the Year as a junior after compiling a 6-1 record and a 1.91 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 55 innings… Enjoyed a stellar senior campaign as well, compiling a 4-0 mark with a 0.58 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 36 innings of work… Issued just 13 walks and limited the opposition to a .148 batting average that season… Was rated as the No. 28 right-handed pitcher in California for the 2024 high school graduating class by Perfect Game, ranking 89th in the state overall… Was also listed as a Top 500 recruit nationally by the website… Garnered preseason second-team all-California region accolades from Perfect Game prior to the 2024 campaign after receiving honorable mention as an underclassman in 2023… Earned all-tournament honors at the 2022 PG Fall National Championship in Surprise, Arizona, where he represented the San Diego Show club program.

PERSONAL: Parents are Dennis and Maryann Telfer… His brother Shane Telfer pitched at Pepperdine and spent parts of two seasons in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization… Has one other brother, Corey, and one sister, Caryn.
