Prepped at Andover High School in Andover, Minnesota…as a senior saw action in all facets of the game, helping lead Andover to the state semifinals…as a senior made 45 tackles, broke up five passes, intercepted one pass and forced one fumble…also rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns and returned seven kickoffs for 294 yards and two touchdowns…as a junior recorded 58 tackles, seven pass breakups and secured one interception…also participated in track and field.
