Completed his prep career at Canyon High School in Anaheim, Calif., as a two-time all-league selection and as an offensive and defensive player of the year... Helped the Comanches to a 20-8 (9-1 Century League) record his senior season, while averaging 11.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists... He also recorded 13 double-figure scoring games and two double-doubles as a senior en route to earning a spot on the PlyoCity All-Star Team in Orange County as a senior...
