Suffered a foot injury in the summer and underwent surgery upon his arrival on campus... Rehabilitated his foot before deciding to redshirt on Jan. 13... Practiced with the team and traveled to a majority of the road dates.

Earned four stars and a No. 78 rating on the Rivals 150... No. 88 on the ESPN 100... ESPN.com gave him four stars and a scout grade of 82... ESPN.com also listed him as the second-best player in the state of Arizona, 14th in the region and 20th at the power forward position... 247Sports.com rated him the 71st-best player nationally, No. 13 at power forward and No. 2 in Arizona in its composite rankings... Helped South Mountain to a 17-10 record and a spot in the state playoffs his senior season...
