Spent two years at Chico State before spending the last two at Cal State Fullerton… At CSF, he appeared in 34 matches while making 29 starts… Scored his first career collegiate goal Oct. 22, 2025 at CSUN… Played 1,159 minutes last season (72/match)... Played 90+ minutes 11 times, including the last nine matches of the season… Started all 18 matches in 2024, totaling 1,514 minutes… Played a full 90 minutes 12 times… Redshirted at Chicho State in 2023… In 2022, started all 16 matches for the Wildcats and helped them post a 0.75 goals allowed averaged, the second best in the CCAA… Played 1,361 minutes and a full 90 14 times.

Played for RSL Arizona and Basha High School… Earned three varsity letters at Basha and was named his conference’s Defender of the Year in 2021… Was named to the All-State team once and to the all-conference team twice… Helped his school establish the longest playoff run in school history.

“Avery is an imposing left footed CB that is very comfortable playing out of the back. He hits a very good switch ball and can draw defenders in with his comfort on the ball. His best attributes are his 1v1 defending, aerial duels, and ability to track runners that try to get behind him.”
