Played for Magic Walling 16U and 18U for two seasons in Vacaville, Calif.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered all four years in both softball and basketball at Whitney High in Cerritos, California… Helped the Wildcats to a CIF section championship in 2023 as well as a league championship... Led the team in several stats including OPS, batting average and home runs as a sophomore... In each of her sophomore and junior seasons, garnered All-NorCal First Team, All-Sacramento Softball, All-CIF section first team and All-SFL First Team accolades... Named the team Offensive MVP in 2023 and the No. 9 player on the Sacramento Softball Top 65 in 2024... Also showed out on the basketball court, bringing home Co-MVP, All-Sacramento, All-SFL First Team, Team Defensive/Rebounder of the Year and a top-25 ranking in the Sacramento Top 65 as both a sophomore and a junior... Won a pair of CIF section titles in addition to league championships in basketball... Set a school record with 24 rebounds in a game in 2023.

Tylie Brielle Kitchen was born on May 6, 2007, in Sacramento, California… Daughter of Julie and Darrin Kitchen… Father played baseball at Butte College from 1987-89 and at Washington State from 1989-92... Mother played basketball and volleyball at Sierra Junior College from 1987-89 and continued her volleyball career at Chico State in 1990 and 1991…Hopes to become a high school physical education teacher and coach after graduation… Lists her favorite athlete as former Oklahoma utility Jocelyn Alo... Enjoys spending her free time outside, especially in the mountains and the beach.
