Made a splash at the national level after being talked about in a Graham Hays article on ESPN.com written in February ... Showed the ability to hit in clutch situations with her two walkoff hits ... Nobody else on the team had one ... Also had four game-winning RBIs ... Her four home runs were tied for second on the team ... Had a hit in her first five games she played ... Began her career in style, hitting a walkoff, two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift SDSU past Creighton, 5-3, on Feb. 11 ... It was the third time in the last five seasons that an Aztec freshmen has debuted with a homer (Erin Floros - 2006, Brittany Knudsen - 2007) ... Singled and scored a run versus Kentucky on Feb. 12 and doubled later in the day against Purdue ... Had a two-out, bases loaded double in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Aztecs a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Oregon on Feb. 13 ... Had her first multi-hit game the following day against Texas Tech ... Had a pinch-hit sacrifice fly against Cal State Northridge on Feb. 24 ... Was 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the Aztecs' 5-0 win over Northern Illinois (March 9) ... Earned the start behind the late against Kansas on March 19 and had two hits and two RBIs ... First-team all-Big Eight League as a senior, after earning first-team all-Mountain Valley League the previous three years ... Was picked by the Press Enterprise as an honorable mention all-Riverside County selection all four seasons ... Helped the Sharks to a pair of MVL titles ...
