2024-25 SEASON (As A Freshman): Participated in 13 meets during her rookie campaign… Helped the Aztecs captured their fourth consecutive Mountain West championship after finishing fourth in the ‘B’ finals of the 100 backstroke and 12th overall with a season-fast time of 54.27 (2-20-24)… Also set a season best in the preliminaries in the 100 fly (55.69) at the conference meet before logging a fourth-place effort in the ‘C’ finals of the 200 fly (2:00.56)… Enjoyed an impressive collegiate debut after placing second in the individual standings at the USD-SDSU Pentathlon, highlighted by a victory in the 100 back (56.91) and a second-place swim in the 100 IM (9-13-24)… Also recorded season-best performances in the 100 free (56.27) and the 100 breaststroke (1:08.42) that day… Returned two weeks later to post a second-place swim of 1:28.68 in the 150 backstroke in a distance meet victory over the same Torero squad (9-27-24)… Finished third in the 50 fly (26.39) in a sprint meet triumph at Pepperdine (10-3-24)… Figured prominently in the Aztecs’ second-place team finish at the Fresno State Invitational, where she placed second in the 100 back (55.69) and led off SDSU’s 400 medley ‘A’ relay that tied for the second spot (3:45.45) (10-4/5-24)… Additionally contributed to SDSU’s point-total at that meet after leading off the 200 medley ‘B’ relay (1:43.32) and 200 freestyle ‘B’ relay (1:36.68), both of which placed sixth before logging another sixth-place effort in the 200 back (2:04.85)… Helped the Scarlet and Black to a pair of dual-meet victories at Alaska Fairbanks on consecutive days after leading off the Aztecs’ triumphant 200 medley (1:45.99) and 400 medley relays (3:48.33) while anchoring the squad’s 200 free relay (1:35.86) (10-11/12/24)… Also took second in the 200 back (2:03.65) vs. the Nanooks… Contributed to SDSU’s strong second-place team finish at the highly competitive Hawkeye Invitational, where she anchored the squad’s runner-up 200 free relay, which posted the school's ninth-best time of 1:30.08, before swimming the fly segment of the team’s third-place 200 medley relay (1:39.71) (11-21/23-24)… Also finished fifth in the ‘A’ finals of the 100 back (54.68) and took third in the ‘B’ finals of the 200 back (2:00.34) at the Iowa meet… Emerged victorious in the 100 back (55.52) after leading off the Aztecs’ triumphant 200 medley relay (1:43.80), helping the Scarlet and Black sweep past New Mexico and Pepperdine in a double dual meet at home (1-2-25)… Led off the SDSU’s victorious 200 freestyle relay in another double dual whitewash of Cal State East Bay and Colorado College, where she set a personal best with a split of 23.80 (1-7-25)… Additionally swam leadoff for the Aztecs’ winning 200 medley relay (1:43.56) against the Pioneers and Tigers before placing third in the 100 fly (56.70)… Helped SDSU capture the team title at the USD Invitational, where she led off the team’s second-place 200 medley ‘B’ relay (1:44.87) to go with a sixth-place effort in the 100 back (57.46) (1-11-25)… Also placed ninth in both the 100 fly (58.72) and 200 back (2:08.67) at the same meet… Contributed to the Aztecs’ triumph over San Diego after swimming lead off on the second-place 400 medley ‘B’ relay team (3.49.40), as the Scarlet and Black completed another unblemished dual-meet schedule (1-25-25)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the spring semester and received conference scholar-athlete recognition.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Swam for North Shore Swimming Club at the long course Apollo Projects New Zealand Age Group Championships in 2024, contributing to four relay victories (200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free, 400 free) while capturing an individual title in the 100 back… Also took home a gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke at the 2023 Queensland Championships in Brisbane, Australia, where she competed for the New Zealand Swimming Federation.
