Mountain West All-Academic Selection (Spring 2025)
SUMMER 2025: Took home eight medals competing for the Lakeshore Swim Club at the long course Lake Erie Age Group at Senior Championships in Cleveland, Ohio… Captured four gold medals in the 50 back (30.66), 100 back (1:04.94) and 100 fly (1:05.03) while swimming the third leg of the victorious 400 medley relay team… Also won three silver medals in the 50 fly (29.44), 200 fly (2:33.78) and as a member of the runner-up 400 freestyle relay team… Additionally earned a bronze in the 50 free (27.64).
2024-25 SEASON (As A Freshman): Saw action in 14 meets during her first year with the Scarlet and Black… Made her collegiate debut at the season-opening USD Pentathlon, where she finished 13th in the individual standings (9-13-24)… Set season bests in the 100 freestyle (55.61) and 100 breaststroke (1:18.79) that day… Placed fifth in the 150 backstroke with a time of 1:36.48 in a distance meet against the same Torero squad two weeks later (9-27-24)… Emerged victorious in the 50 back (27.19) and led off the Aztecs’ fourth-place 200 freestyle ‘B’ relay with a season-fast split of 25.51, helping SDSU defeat Pepperdine in a sprint meet in Malibu (10-3-24)… Contributed to the Aztecs’ point-total in their second-place team finish at the Fresno State Invitational, where she placed 15th in both the 100 back (58.11) and 200 fly (2:13.18)… Won the 100 fly in a dual-meet victory at Alaska Fairbanks after touching the wall at 59.45 (10-11-24)… Finished eighth in the ‘A’ finals of the 100 back (55.43) and took sixth in the ‘C’ finals of the 100 fly (56.15) at the Hawkeye Invitational, helping the Aztecs to a strong second-place team finish (11-23-24)…Additionally recorded season bests in the preliminaries of the 200 back (2:03.59) and 200 fly (2:10.53) at the Iowa meet… Led off SDSU’s second-place 200 medley ‘B’ relay (1:46.10) and placed fourth in the 100 back (59.64) in a double dual meet sweep of New Mexico and Pepperdine (1-2-25)… Swam the third leg of the Aztecs’ fourth-place 200 freestyle ‘B’ relay (1:40.58) and took fifth in the 100 fly (58.06), helping the Scarlet and Black to another double-dual whitewash of Cal State East Bay and Colorado College (1-7-25)… Finished ninth in the 100 back (1:00.35) at the USD Invitational (1-11-25)… Took third in the ‘C’ finals of the 100 back (55.33) and placed seventh in the ‘C’ finals of the 100 fly (55.21) at the Mountain West Championships, both of which marked season bests (2-21/22-24)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team and received conference scholar-athlete distinction.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2024 from Avon (Ohio) High School… Emerged triumphant in the finals of the 100 back (54.59) and placed second in the finals of the 100 back (54.84) at the 2023 Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I State Championships as junior… Placed third in the 100 back (54.88) and took third in the 100 fly (54.78) at the OHSAA state meet as a senior… Swam for the Lakeshore Swim Club at the long course LE CSS Age Group and Open Meet in the summer of 2024, winning gold medals in the 50 free (28.90), 100 free (1:03.60), 200 free (2:19.54) and 200 IM (2:37.92).
