Outdoor (Freshman): Kicked off the outdoor season at the Aztec Coastal Classic with an 18:11.89 final time in the 5k ... Ran a career best 17:51.26 in the 5k at the Bob Larson Distance Carnival on March 27 ... Debuted in the 1,500m run at the UCSD Triton Invitational running 5:01.57.

Prepped at West Torrance High School in Torrance, Calif…was a four-time varsity letter winner with the Warriors…was selected 1st Team All-League six times…helped lead West Torrance to a pair of Pioneer League Cross Country Championships…owns the school record in the three mile (Cross Country) and 3200 meter (Track & Field)…high school personal best included 4:58 (1600 meter), 10:39 (3200 meter), 17:20 (three mile) and 18:18 (5k).
