Attended Denver East High School… Named to the Denver Post’s All-State Team as a senior after averaging 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.8 steals per game while leading her school to their first Final Four in 16 years… Shot 64% from the field, 57% from three and 88% from the line… Was a four-time All-City selection… Averaged 10.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.8 steals per game as a junior while shooting 90% from the line… Helped her team make the Elite Eight for the first time in 12 years… Averaged 11.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.0 steals as a sophomore… Was a team captain all four years… Played AAU ball for Elite Basketball Club… Played JV volleyball as a freshman… Was on the honor roll and All-Academic Team.

Born in Providence, R.I. to Eileen Hearty and Paul Handley… Her uncle James played football at Colorado State… Was part of the “Female Athlete Wellness Club” in high school… Chose to come to SDSU because of the coaching staff, campus and because she felt like she “really connected with the players and the team’s goals.”
